Every 3-4 months we organise a pampering evening to help fund some of our activities. This is a great opportunity for women to get together meet new friends and relax while indulging in the many treatments on offer.
Every year, we organise trips to different theme parks. This is an opportunity for the whole family to get together. Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Twin Lakes are just some of the recent excursions that was recently enjoyed by all.
Each year during the summer holidays we facilitate a Summer Play Scheme for children aged 5 – 12 years old. And a youth program for 13+ fun, engaging and active. Designed to keep the little ones occupied over the school holidays, whilst having great fun, learning new skills and making new friends
I feel stronger and have gained much in confidence since volunteering. What I’ve achieved since volunteering with Second Chance, I wouldn’t have done any of it a few months ago. My family are happy for what you’ve helped me with.
